Shipping, Delivery & Returns

At Muse Baskets and Co., every gift is prepared and delivered with care, intention, and attention to detail, ensuring a thoughtful experience from our studio to the recipient.

We offer a range of delivery options to support timely arrival. Please review our shipping policy below for full details.


Curated Gifts & Curate Your Gift

Our gift boxes are artisan in nature and thoughtfully made to order. Once your order is placed, please allow 1–3 business days for preparation, followed by the applicable transit time for your delivery destination, excluding the day your order is placed.

Orders placed earlier in the week typically ship within a few business days once preparation is complete. We recommend reviewing the applicable transit times for your delivery destination.


Branded Collection (Semi-Custom Gifts)

Our Branded Collection offers a refined semi-custom gifting solution, ideal for corporate and branded orders.

Turnaround time depends on order size; however, for orders of 20 gift boxes or fewer, Branded Collection orders typically ship within 2–3 weeks, subject to inventory availability, once the following are received:

  • Completed order confirmation

  • Recipient address list provided in Excel format

  • High-resolution logo files (300–600 dpi or vector format)

Orders of more than 20 gift boxes may require extended lead times, which will be confirmed at the time of ordering.


Bespoke Custom Gift Design Service

Our Bespoke Custom Gift Design Service is a fully tailored offering, thoughtfully curated and assembled to your specifications.

To allow for intentional design, sourcing, assembly, and delivery, we recommend a lead time of 6–8 weeks from project approval to shipment. During peak seasons or depending on material availability, additional notice may be required.

Rush projects may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to feasibility. If you are working toward a specific deadline, we invite you to inquire and we will do our best to accommodate.


Delivery Methods & Transit Times

We offer several delivery methods to accommodate a range of destinations, timelines, and delivery requirements. All shipments are fulfilled using trusted national carriers, including UPS, FedEx, Purolator, and Canpar, selected for reliability and service coverage.


Local Courier Delivery (Greater Vancouver Area)

Local orders are delivered via professional courier services throughout the Greater Vancouver area.

Once dispatched, local deliveries are typically completed within one business day. Limited next-day delivery may be available for orders placed before 11:00 AM PST, subject to confirmation and availability.

We are pleased to offer weekend delivery as part of our luxury local service.

Our local delivery area includes:
Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, New Westminster, Maple Ridge, Richmond, Surrey, White Rock, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Langley, Pitt Meadows, and Delta.


Canada-Wide Shipping

Orders shipping within Canada are fulfilled through national carriers and delivered to residential and commercial addresses across all provinces and territories.

Estimated transit times once shipped:

  • British Columbia: 1–2 business days

  • Alberta: 2–3 business days

  • Manitoba & Saskatchewan: 3–4 business days

  • Ontario: 4–5 business days

  • Quebec: 5–6 business days

  • Atlantic Canada (NB, NS, PEI): 7–8 business days

  • Newfoundland: Approximately 8 business days

Remote or rural destinations may experience extended transit times or incur additional shipping fees.


Expedited or Express Shipping (Canada-Wide)

Expedited or express shipping options may be available for Canada-wide orders, depending on destination and carrier availability.

If you require faster delivery for a time-sensitive order, we recommend contacting us prior to placing your order so we can confirm available options and associated costs. In most cases, we are able to accommodate expedited requests.


P.O. Box Deliveries

We are able to ship to P.O. boxes within Canada. P.O. box deliveries are fulfilled via Canada Post.

If the shipping cost for a P.O. box delivery exceeds the original quoted rate by more than $2, we will contact you for approval prior to shipment to confirm the adjusted shipping fee.


U.S. Shipping

Where available, orders shipping to the United States are fulfilled via cross-border courier services. Delivery timelines typically range from 5–10 business days, subject to customs processing.

*** As of August 29, 2025, the U.S. de minimis exemption for commercial shipments, which allowed goods under $800 USD to enter duty-free, was suspended for all countries on August 29, 2025.
As a result, we have ceased shipping to the United States for the time being. We will continue to monitor the situation and update as circumstances change.


Important Notes on Delivery Timing

  • Transit times begin once an order has been dispatched from our studio

  • All delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees

  • Delivery may be impacted by weather, carrier volume, customs processing, or access limitations

  • Transit times do not include order preparation or production time

For time-sensitive deliveries, we recommend contacting us in advance so we can advise on the most suitable shipping option.


Delivery Locations, Timing & Studio Pickup

We ship across Canada and offer local delivery throughout the Greater Vancouver area.

Our local delivery area includes:
Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, New Westminster, Maple Ridge, Richmond, Surrey, White Rock, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Langley, Pitt Meadows, and Delta.

Local deliveries are typically completed during standard delivery windows between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM, including weekends for local service. While delivery notes are welcome, exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

Studio pickup is available from our Coquitlam, British Columbia location by appointment once your order is ready. We will contact you to coordinate pickup details.


Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your order, delivery destination, and the shipping method selected.

Rates reflect the most appropriate ground shipping option available at the time of purchase. Expedited or express shipping, where available, is quoted separately based on destination and carrier availability.

For bulk, branded, or corporate orders, shipping rates may be quoted separately depending on order volume, delivery structure, and destination requirements.


Tracking & Delivery Notifications

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email from Muse Baskets and Co. with tracking details linked directly to the carrier.

For shipments fulfilled through UPS, FedEx, Purolator, and Canpar, tracking information reflects real-time updates provided by the carrier.

For local courier deliveries within the Greater Vancouver area, live tracking is not available. An email notification from Muse Baskets and Co. will be sent once the gift has been successfully delivered.


Delays, Responsibility & Undeliverable Packages

While we take great care in preparing every order, delivery timelines are managed by our courier partners once a shipment leaves our studio.

Muse Baskets and Co. is not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our control, including weather conditions, service interruptions, customs processing, carrier volume, or incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided at checkout.

If a gift is returned to our studio as undeliverable, we are happy to assist with re-shipment in accordance with the protocol outlined below.


Returned & Undeliverable Gifts — Re-Shipment Process

If a gift is returned to our studio due to non-delivery (including, but not limited to, an invalid address, refusal by the recipient, or the parcel not being picked up), the following process applies:

  • We notify you by email that your gift has been returned, including the return reason provided by the carrier

  • You provide an updated and valid delivery address

  • We carefully inspect and adjust the gift to ensure presentation remains impeccable

  • The gift is repackaged in a new, clean shipping box with fresh materials

  • A $15 re-processing fee, plus the actual cost of postage, applies

  • An invoice is issued electronically; once paid, the gift is re-shipped within 2 business days

If the invoice is not paid within 5 business days, the gift is considered unclaimed and becomes the property of Muse Baskets and Co.

Returned or undeliverable orders are not eligible for refund.


Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

What is your return policy?

Due to the curated nature of our gift boxes, which may include food items and personal-use goods, all orders are final sale. We are unable to accept returns or issue refunds.

Once an order has been prepared or shipped, returns and exchanges are not accepted.


Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, provided preparation or production has not yet begun.

Once an order has entered production or has shipped, it cannot be canceled or refunded.

Custom, branded, and corporate orders are non-cancellable and non-refundable once production has commenced.


Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or contains an error, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

To assist with resolution, we require:

  • Clear photographs of the shipping box and affected items

  • A brief description of the issue

Eligible issues will be resolved through replacement of the affected item or an item-specific refund, at our discretion.


Refund Processing (When Applicable)

Approved refunds are issued to the original form of payment. Processing timelines vary depending on your payment provider and financial institution.
